Medical Director
Dr. Peskind is a Board Certified Otolaryngologist providing ear, nose, throat, allergy and sinus services to infants, children, teenagers, adults and seniors. As the Medical Director of Enhanced Hearing, Dr. Peskind and Elizabeth Chilcote, MS, CCC-A, work closely to monitor and maintain your hearing health. The unique collaboration of having an ear, nose and throat physician and audiologist working together allows for immediate consultation in the event you may have an incidental infection, unusual hearing loss, or simply need ear wax removal to complete your hearing evaluation. Lindsay Shafer, Au.D., CCC-A
Licensed Clinical Audiologist
Dr. Shafer provides complete audiologic care including diagnostic audiological evaluations, balance assessment and treatment, and hearing device dispensing. Her goal is to inform patients of hearing conservation, rehabilitation options and advances in technology in order to equip them with the knowledge needed to make decisions regarding their hearing healthcare. Dr. Shafer earned both her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Audiology from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. She completed her externship at the VA North Texas Health Care System. Dr. Shafer is licensed by the State of Texas, certified by the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. What is an Audiologist? |
